Miami Marathon Man

Today Patrick ran his first Marathon... that's 26.2 miles!

The marathon was held in Miami and hosted by ING Direct. Patrick's been training for it for months, and he finished under 5 hours.

After doing that, becoming a dad should be easy, right?

Some Nursery Pictures

Here are some pictures of our nursery in progress. I picked up the crib and changing table at a local consignment shop. The glider and ottoman were a present from my parents and grandmother. I made the light fixture by painting and adding crystals to a plain chandelier I found at Lowe's. And the bedding has been my big sewing project... I still have to make the bumper, but I should have a few more weeks before she needs a place to sleep. If you are wondering why the walls are blue in some pictures and gold in others it is becuase I change my mind too much. They started gold, but now I've settled on the blue, but it won't be completely done until Grandma Dayna paints the wall mural, but slowly the pieces are coming together.

We were super-excited to find out that we are expecting a daughter this March.
